Alpine Valley Gift Cards are pre-paid cards that work like a debit account (except that cash cannot be withdrawn) for purchases at any of the selected sales stations throughout Alpine Valley.  Gift Cards are perfect for students participating in our lesson programs, families who visit the slopes, and those looking for a unique gift idea.

Gift Cards can be used at the ticket windows for Snow Passes, tubing tickets, rentals and lessons. You can also use your Gift Card at any of our food service areas. The only restriction at Alpine Valley is that you cannot purchase a new Gift Card with an old Gift Card.

Alpine Valley Gift Cards can be purchased in any denomination, with a $20 minimum. Your Alpine Valley Gift Card account can easily be reloaded online at your convenience during the same season of original purchase.

Gift Cards can be purchased online or in person during regular office hours.

* If ordering for a holiday present please order at least 2 weeks prior to the holiday to ensure enough time for shipping and handling.


Shipping

Gift Cards are typically held in Guest Services under the recipient’s name. We also offer two different options for shipping your purchased Gift Card(s), US Mail or UPS Ground:

  • UPS Ground ($10 fee) is the recommended shipping method for Gift Cards because it requires a signature at the time of delivery, and packages sent this way are trackable.  (This can come in handy if your Gift Card is not received as expected, since Gift Cards are treated just like cash at our resorts.) UPS Ground usually means second day delivery in Ohio.  (Note: If you are buying multiple Gift Cards and want UPS Ground delivery for them, you need only order 1 of your cards "with shipping" to cover the shipping & handling costs.)
  • US Mail First Class ($2 fee) delivery is cheaper, but it does not require a signature at the time of delivery and Alpine Valley has no way to track Gift Cards sent via US Mail. If your Gift Card needs to be reissued because it has been lost by the USPS, a $25 reprint fee and additional shipping and handling fees will apply.

Gift Card Terms & Conditions

Lost, stolen or misplaced cards must be reported immediately to Guest Services in the Info Office, either in person or by calling (440) 285-2211. The cardholder may be responsible for unauthorized use of the card. Gift cards without an assigned name are transferable. They have no tracking method build into them, and are considered the same as cash if lost or stolen. Cash cannot be withdrawn from any Gift Card account. The cardholder is responsible for maintaining a valid Gift Card in proper working condition. The Gift Card is the access device for the member's account. The card must be presented at the time of purchase and shall be the only means of accessing the participants account.
Gift Cards expire 5 years from the date that funds were last loaded onto the card. The Gift Card is an in-house, private label concept. It places a debit account on your membership ID card or on an unnamed gift card. The account is activated once funds have been deposited. The Gift Card eliminates the need to carry cash, checks, or credit cards and offers value.
