Best Learn-to-Ski & Learn-to-Snowboard Areas!
Over the past 45 years our Alpine Valley Professional Ski School has taught thousands of kids and adults how to ski. Our Ski School is registered with the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA). When you're ready to begin or increase your skiing or snowboarding experience, we have over 100 instructors available offering programs at all levels.

However, we at Alpine Valley realize the many concerns the never-ever-skier/snowboarder might have when you decide to learn to ski. So here are a few things to consider now that you're ready to begin your skiing/snowboarding education.

| How Do I Select A Learn to Ski/Snowboard Area? |
| This one's important, you want to make sure you select a ski/snowboard area that creates an environment conducive to learning and offers a complete learn to ski program. Alpine Valley is such an area. |
| What Do I Wear? |
| There is no need to purchase expensive designer wear when you're learning to ski/snowboard. Simply dress like you were going outside to play in the snow. Of course, we recommend to dress warm: jacket, sweater, gloves or mittens, cap or ear muffs. That's right, you've got the idea. It's best to dress in layers so you can remove clothing as your adrenaline begins to pump. |
| What If You Don't Own Ski or Snowboard Equipment? |
| That's no problem, Alpine Valley operates one of the finest, most efficient rental shops in the industry. Our professional rental shop employees will select just the right equipment package for you. We feature only the best ski equipment and snowboards. |
| How Do I Learn to Ski or Snowboard? |
| This one's easy, you go to school! That's right, school. Alpine Valley's ski/snowboard school, with over 100 professional instructors is available for private, semi-private and group lessons for the never ever skier/snowboarder. Beginners find that our accelerated learning method has them skiing/snowboarding one of our beginner's slopes within the first hour of instruction. And, as you progress there will be no holding you back as you explore all the slopes and trails at Alpine Valley's "Snow Fun" Area. |
| Learning to Ski/Snowboard Sounds Great But Expensive |
| That's not the case at all. Alpine Valley has a variety of beginners programs available to the never-ever-skier/snowboarder. In fact, you can begin with a one session lift ticket, complete set of ski rental equipment and a one hour beginners group lesson for as little as $29.00. All area Learn to Ski and Learn to Snowboard packages are available. |
